scoring corrections

Post by franco32 » Mon May 18, 2009 3:28 pm

How can you go back to an inning to correct a mistake without using "undo" all the way back & erasing other scoring? It would be great to be able to access an inning from the top score bar in order to correct something like a hit that was corrected as an error for example.

Currently scoring can only be corrected using Undo/Redo functionality.

The #1 priority of our next release (1.70) is editing games / plays after the fact. We have a play by play listing currently running in our test lab, and we are making some corrections possible directly from this play by play listing. It will be focusing on "type 1" corrections as someone called them in another thread --- corrections that don't effect the outcome of the game, just allows things like changing a hit to an error, or changing the "touches" for a play (e.g. changing 6-3 to 5-3)... the most common types of scoring mistakes.
