Fixing at bat from a finished game...

Post by Slobberknockers » Wed Sep 08, 2010 9:54 am

I didn't score an at bat correctly. This player had a 3-1 count and missed a strike
, going 3-2. The runner at 3rd tried to score and was caught, ending the inning. I inadvertently said the batter walked ending his at bat which was not the case as he would lead off the next inning. I tried to fix in the pitch by pitch but I couldn't change the ball to a strike... Need help.

this type of "game changing" eidt is grayed out / restricted in the current version of the editor. at this time the only way to compltetly correct is to rescore the game using undo.
yes it is tedious (but not as bad as you may think)... if critical that you correct, that is the way post fact. the real problem will be the following inning as you noted as the batter should be back up and that may have messed up all the following at bat stats..
