iscorecast Update button

When watching the game on iscorecast is it necesssary to repeatedly hit the "update" button for the game to progress? Is there some way to set it so the game continually updates automatically? Hitting the button every minute or so makes it really tedious.

You should not have to keep hitting "update"

i suspect there is a setting on your web browser that needs attention..

Try this iscorecast .. I know this broadcast starts and plays without user having to keep hitting update.

if it does not play on your browser, then we need to check your browser settings. what browser are you using? if it does play on your browser, then will need to see the link to the scorecast that is not playing correcty..

Okay, that link worked just fine but I am using a different PC today than I was on yesterday. i will try the link tonight on the same PC I was using yesterday and report back. I am pretty sure they are both using IE8 as a browser.

also on your device (iphone/ipad/itouch)..
you may want to re synch your iscorecast.
Game Manager > Select Game> (scroll down) > i-ScoreCast Synchcronize


if it is a browser issue, i am not sure what exactly is the 'constricting setting'. check your cookies and pop up blockers i would guess.

OK, tried it another PC and it worked fine without hitting the update button, although sometimes it would update pitches in bunches. In other words, it seems like the updates are timed and not immediate so the count might go from 1-0 to 3-2 in one update or refresh. Is this typical?

Live or archived iscorecast?

I have not experienced that on replays, ...could see it on live real time broadcasts depending on Internet connection..

With a live scorecast, the servers are polled for new information at an interval, so yes, it is possible multipl events will come through in one update.

It was on live scorecasts only and not on replays. Your replies make sense. By the way, scored a live game last night and set up the grandparents on iscorecast on the couch at home. They flipped! Loved it!!
