Bypass button needed

Post by surgeonwriter » Thu Aug 05, 2010 7:04 pm

I love this app. Use it all the time. I spend a lot of time scoring MLB with this app on my iPad. I'm doing other things at the same time, moving in and out of this app. I'd like to see a button on the home screen which takes us right back into the active game, bypassing the three or so screens I have to go thru now every time I exit and return.

Also, I record every throw over to first as a pickoff attempt. Would be nice if there was a button that would simply record the script in the pitch by pitch, something like: Pitcher throws to first, runner safe.

In the comments entry box, how about a few simple scripted buttons, like "ground rule double" and "off the wall".

Great program. Very intuitive.

Our next release takes advantage of iOS4 multitasking capabilities. This will immediately allow iPhone users to resume scoring where they left off. As soon as the iPad allows iOS4 installation, that will work there as well.

Pickoff Attempts can be recorded by tapping the runner on the base the attempt was made at, and clicking the Pickoff Attempt button there.

There is actually an entry for Ground Rule Double... when you click Safe, Ground Rule double is an option. On the iPhone, you have to click the More... button to see it.

We have on our enhancement list adding the ability for people to add their own "quick notes" they can select from. It is not real high on the priority list right now, but it is there, and it would allow you to enter things like "off the wall" into your list (people that use it for games that don't have a wall would never use that phrase, so leaving the list as customizable is probably best).

Thank you for the suggestions.
