Show pinch hitter/runner as PH or PR

Post by LiteBulb88 » Sun Jul 25, 2010 7:21 pm

Hi! I do like this application; just successfully scored a full game for the first time. I do have a request: can a pinch hitter and pinch runner have their position shown as PH/PR, respectively, in the scorecard? Right now, it shows just a dash which means I don't know whether the player was a PH or PR (and the game I scored had multiple PHs & PRs.) Thanks!

Did the players pinch hit / pinch run, then exit the game? With Pinch Runner, we should actually be showing "PRx" on the scorecard, so the distinction would be either the user has PR at the based they came in at, or no PR would mean they pinch hit. Many times the pinch hitter / runner then takes over the defensive position of the player which would be shown on the scorecard. We have had this request before and have it on our enhancement list, we are just trying to further understand user's requirements. Thank you.

I used iScore to score the Braves Nationals game on 7/29/2010, Braves inserted a pr in the 8th who did not remain in game, scorebook only shows a - in Pos column.

I get the same result. I get "-" not 'PR' notation both iPad and iPhone version. (V2.7)

When i Touch player on base and pitch runner button... Substitution screen comes up and then ...Scorecard lists the pinch runner under the player subbed for with "-" in pos column and inning # in inn column

FYI, when doing courtesy runner (instead of pinch runner) get the line up screen ( not substitution screen) and the scorecard correctly notates the switch with a blue 'C#' notation in score book scoring block next to base , with new runner #, b/c not a substitution, you do not get player name number listed on the left side and then do not have the '-'...

Is the FTM reported PR notation in the upcoming version 2.8 perhaps?

The PR notation should be exactly like the C# notation for courtesy runners... if it is not there, it is a bug, and we will get it fixed.

I tested it on both myIpad and itouch. neither showed it. does anyone's show it???

( I did a simple test, first batter hits single, and then did a pinch runner .. no PR on either platform.. Couresy runner does show, but not pinch runner. perhaps a later batter or game situation and it does show?)

If yours is not showing it, we are sure nobody's is. We will look into that issue and get it fixed as soon as possible. Thanks.
