Lefty / Righty Batter indicator on scorecard

Post by OhioTex » Thu Jul 08, 2010 6:56 am

small idea.. for the score card ,

could you consider a switch hitter / side of the plate batting indicator. perhaps position a small black circle on the left or right side of the plate to idicate side of plate for the at bat.. (would be opposite the G,P,L,F indicator currently on the right side of home plate) would be a way to see switch hitters , since can not capture stats left vs right .... probably a lot of coding for a little benefit, so not likely to be high on the list.. but an idea i thought i would surface. (yes i have a switch hitting DD)

It should also (in the case of a switch hitter) default to the opposite of the pitcher's throwing arm. I'm not now how it decides on which side to default to.
