The problem with allowing the breaking of a linkage is you could wind up with circular references. If you did a mapping, then shared with another user, then broke your mapping, but that other user still had the mapping and scored some games, then went to transfer the game back to you, you would have a situation where a player on that person's device maps to two players on your device. We worked hard to make it so this could not happen and also so that once you have done a mapping, sharing with more friends would maintain the mappings so they don't have to re-map already mapped players.
We feel allowing breaking would actually cause people to wind up in worse scenarios. As noted in our post above, what you are doing is a very advanced concept (you have to understand what is actually going on behind the scenes), and we would not want an average user to have to understand (or even want to understand) how it all works. Our guess is you have some kind of programming or engineering background.
Glad it all worked out for you in the end.

Glad it got resolved. Wanted to echo for anyone reading this...unless you are extremely comfortable with what is being discussed. May want to ignore.FTMSupport wrote: NOTE: Please do not try doing this unless you are very comfortable with what is being described and understand what is being said... this note is really for others that may be reading this and think this suggestion might apply to their situation... chances are it does not because this is a very unique situation

I get it....we could create a monster...and then be asking for help!!!!!
You are correct, I have many years of experience in programming and DB2. Which is probably why I found solving this very interesting rather than frustrating.....
On a side note.....your customer service is TOP NOTCH. You provided several responses in a very timely fashion.....
Thanks again....
