Quick Roster

Post by OAR » Thu Jul 22, 2010 4:54 am

I'm new to the appl. I had the roster for the opponent from a previous tournament but did not have it in time for the start of a game so I used the Quick Roster. The app used the original players plus the quick roster on the line-up so I had too many players and could not find a way to edit the roster.

From reading other posts on similar issues, I guess I can use the Options function to edit the roster as the game goes on by deleting/adding players. Is this right?

If you had the roster for the opponent from a previous game you could have used that roster then change the order of the lineup during the game by using Misc; show starting lineup. Even with the original roster plus the quick roster you could use the misc; show starting lineup.

You would not use "option" but would use "misc > show starting line up" from the game scoring screen ( as danmac said).

Use this To rename the generic player x name to the correct name. If the game is already scored, you would use "pitch by pitch editor" from the game info screen And choose first event, substitution, to get the edit the starting line up..

After doing this you may end up with multiple instances of the same player, ...no worry they can be merged together with the merge function. Check this by turning on "all leagues" and then reviewing your player manager, if you find duplicates , you can merge them into one, using the merge button (lower left> of player manager screen.
