PO Stats ?

Forgive me if I'm wrong on this as I'm new to the stats thing but.

I was looking at the stats that get emailed and had a question on the PO stats.

I thought that when a pitcher gets a strike out, that would be recorded as a PO for the pitcher in the fielding stats section.

In the stats that are email I'm seeing the strike outs PO being given to the catcher.

Am I wrong or is this a bug.

The catcher is credited with a Putout when there is a strikeout. The pitcher is credited with a Strikeout.

MLB Rule 10.09(b)(1)

(b) The official scorer shall credit an automatic putout to the catcher when a:
(1) batter is called out on strikes;

Thank you for the clarification. I did say I was new to doing the stat thing.
