iPad/iPhone

Post by DetroitTigers » Fri Jun 18, 2010 5:47 pm

I bought the iPad version which I thought would work on the iphone as well. Do I have to pay another $10 for the iPhone version?

Yes you will need to purchase a second version of the app. Apple sees 2 devices even if they are the same owner so the app won't transfer. The link below explains it better.

Just to clarify a bit here as well... the iPhone / iPod Touch version will run on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and the iPad --- it will run on all devices. As long as all the devices are on the same account, you can even install it on all the devices for no additional fee (this is true of ANY application).

The iPad specific version will only run on the iPad, but is made to take advantage of iPad specific features (mostly the additional screen size), and is a separate purchase as detailed in the link danmcc sent.

Thank you.
