emailing stats & exporting

Post by rexrode » Sun Jun 13, 2010 5:46 pm

I am unable to email any of the stat. How can I email the team stat and the individual game stats.
How does the export works? Will I lose the info from my ipad after it is exported?
Thank you,

EXPORTING
First, You will not loose any of the information from your hand held when you "export"
exporting sends a copy of your database to the FTM server, where a few things can happen, 1) it populates the database for the free admin web site iscore http://my.iscorecentral.com/login.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2) it populates database of any team websits you have purchased
3) it holds a copy on their server in case you have an issue and email FTM to reviw your data,
4) it acts as a backup in case you loose your device or somehow corrupt your data (you can replace your database from the FTM server with import, Importing does over write your handheld with what is on the server.. )

EMAILING STATS
Very easy... but number one issue is first being sure you have a good internet connection

Individual
* game manager .. select desired game .. EMAIL button on bottom left
* type in valid email address (can do multiple emails seperated with a space).
* choose vistor/ home or both,
* choose to email stats in HTML, Excel or CSV and/or send the pdf score book if you want

Team Stats
* TEAM MANAGE ... desired Team .. TEAM STATS button bottom left,
* Choose EMAIL button upper right
* enter email address.

Thank you, I will try the exporting. On the emailing, this is what I have been doing and it said successful emailed, but the emails are never received. Is there another way to email the stats?
Thank you

Oh, you have gotten the successful email notice.. then internet connectivity is not the issue.

so ....
#1 double check you spelled the email address correctly (I am sure you did , but always worth rementioning)
#2 double check your spam folder settings, (this is the number one reason people do not get emails when they get 'email success notices')
#3 if you are trying to send to multiple eamil address, remember to put a space between them (not a semi colen or comma)

Ps. you will see in prior threads, in the last few months FTM has upgraded their email server capacity and has not had an email outage on their end in a while. So if you are getting the success send email, doubtful an issue on the end. double check spam filter and potential for typo in address.

Thank you, it took awhile but I did receive the emails. And I will have the others to check their spam folders. Thanks again for all of your help.
