Adding pitches in after the fact

Post by marklee2005 » Tue Jun 01, 2010 9:14 pm

First, I am a long time off-and-on user of ScorePad for the Palm. iScore blows it away. I am so pleased to find this app!

Now my question which I am sure must be answered on here but darn if I can find it:
Is it possible to add pitches to the pitch-by-pitch editor section? I mainly score at my local minor league games (Mississippi Braves of the Southern League) and sometimes only get the final result of the play in. For example, after a 5 pitch at bat, the hitter grounds out to short. If I put this in as a first pitch event, is there anyway after the game to go back and in and put in the previous four pitches? If not, this would be a high priority request for a lot of users I would think. Thanks for a great product!

Welcome to the board.

I am not aware of functionality to fill in/add events to the play by play. iScore seems to be more of score what you see therefore if you see a pitch it is input. You can edit what kind of pitch later such as changing a ball to strike or looking strike to swinging strike.
FTM is working on more editing functions so this could be added to that list.

welcome -

always glad to see scorepad/palm converts .. coming over to iphone/ipad and iscore. I think you will be pleased with bith functionality and FTM support.

as you have seen, there are a number of differences between the two (in addition to price). and I will echo danmcc comments. Currently iScore restricts the post game editing to only non game changing events. you can not insert plays (or pitches).
