I have scored 23 games on iScore on "iTouch #1." Love it!
I have now installed iScore on "iTouch #2" and need to move the existing games, teams, roster, stats, etc. from #1 to #2.
I started using the Data Sharing feature via Bluetooth to move each game from #1 to #2...it works fine and I can do this for each individual game to recreate the database (for stats) on #2. It is just a bit tedious to do this 23 times.
However, is there in easier way to do this via the website data (import and export)?
When I use #2 and try to go to the website it has me "create" a new website. I'm trying to gain access to #1's existing website with the thought that I can "import" the data from there.
Is this possible? Or, more simply, what is the best way to move the existing data from #1 to #2?
Thanks in advance, John
data sharing among iTouches via Bluetooth or Import/export?

Re: data sharing among iTouches via Bluetooth or Import/export?
Data sharing is the best way to do it, but oddly enough, bluetooth is much slower than using the web sharing. If you go to the Options->Admin Website setting in iScore for the device you want to copy FROM, and jot down the login info, you can then go to Options->Data Sharing on the device you want to copy the data TO, and enter the login info forthe FROM device. It will then show all the games that exist on that device's Admin Website (just like with bluetooth transfer), and you can bring the games in that way. It is significantly faster than the Bluetooth method.

A couple of questions/call outs for you...
Are you going to continue to use unit 1 ?
Did you have any TEAM WEB SITES on unit #1?
If you are not going to use unit 1 in the future, and/or if you had a team web site on unit 1, you may want to email FTM with your old and new unit Customer ID numbers and ask them to just copy unit 1 info to unt 2 for you. You would do this because team web site "ownership" is assigned to a specific device Id can not be transfered by an end user from device 1 to device 2. only FTM can do that behind the scenes.

Re: data sharing among iTouches via Bluetooth or Import/export?
FTM --- thanks much, I'll do it via the website as you suggested.
OhioTex -- no, I did not create a team website on Unit 1, but thanks for the advice. I didn't know the website management was tied to a specific device so I'll be sure to create it with whichever unit will be my "primary" unit.
Each iTouch belongs to each of my 2 boys -- 10 and 12. Whichever boy lets daddy use his iTouch determines if I'm scoring with Unit 1 or Unit 2. Maybe mommy can get daddy his own iTouch or iPad just for scoring:)
Thanks for the advice guys.

Re: data sharing among iTouches via Bluetooth or Import/export?
the data shareing via websites should work well for you "situation"..not knowing which you get to use when....
The latest version of iScore even saves the last entered customer id for you by default, so you will only have to enter that once on each unit and only have to remember the password
do note: you have to export after every game to push your data to the web site, then
you will be able to go back and forth pretty easily (and rather quickly) once you get the hang of it..

Thanks guys...everything you said worked flawlessly. I now have the app on 2 devices. All the data swapped perfectly. Thanks, John
