Enter Umpire's name

It would be great to have a place to type in the umpire's name for each game, and a field to write notes about the umpire.

You can currently use the Notes for the game itself (available on Game Info screen when you select a game from Game Manager), or some people enter a note as the very first thing when the game starts that includes umpire information (notes in game are accessed by "flicking" the top part of the screen to the left to reveal a notes icon on the iPhone/iPod Touch version, or from the Notes button on the bottom toolbar on the iPad version).

We will likely add a field specifically for umpires in a future version as well.

Maybe we can have a dropdown list of descriptions for the umpires to make it easy... I'm sure several of you have lots of adjectives we can add to the list for umpires.

Having a field to enter in umpire information would be an improvement. Currently, to enter in line-ups, you have to get past the screen where game notes (where you suggest umpire information be added) and we don't usually know the umpires names until just before game time, so I have to write the names on a piece of paper and then remember to enter the info after the game - a bit cumbersome. Being able to enter that info from the scoring screen somewhere would be preferable, for me.

We also suggested the option of entering it as a NOTE for the game. This would be done from the scoring screen. We will likely add a field specifically for umpires in a future release as well, but it will be part of the "Game Info" screen (along with all the other "game info" fields). We will think about coming up with a better way to get to the Game Info entry fields, but even from the scoring screen, it is just an Exit and a YES, and you are at the Game Info screen. At best it will be one fewer click to get to it.
