Hit Charts on Website

Post by chadski » Wed May 12, 2010 2:25 pm

I am tracking one little league team under two different leagues: 1) Phillies All Games and 2) Phillies Playoffs. Last night we had our first playoff game and I would just like to view the hit chart for that game (and going forward any future post season games) on the website. However, the website shows all hits to date even though my device only has the Playoffs league selected. Also, the individual hit charts for each of the player cards on the device properly show only the one playoff game. I have also just recently exported the data so I know that the website info is current.

Thanks in advance for any info. Even just knowing whether or not it is even possible to choose what the website's hit chart shows would be very helpful.

Filtering hit charts to a particular league is only an option on the device right now. The PDF version that is available on the Admin Website will show all hits for the users on the selected team.

We may add league filtering to that hit chart in the future as well, but it is not currently available.

I have a problem withe hit charts on the admin web site. I have scored
4 games against 4 different opponents so far but I can only see hit charts
for 2 of the opposing teams and my Personal team. The other two teams
do not show any hit charts when I select them from the Admin Web Site
page.

Am I doing something wrong in upload?

Make sure you have done an Export from your device to put the latest data up on our server.

Yes I have exported, twice now for the game from last night including doing an optimize data and then imported and exported again.
I have exported several times since the other game that I cannot see hit charts for. The pdf file. Opens and shows the info at the bottom of the page but no hit charts at all.
The other two opponents and our own team shows up fine in PDF format so I know it is not my viewer.

Any other suggestions???????

Is the league assigned to the "missing" data games turned on when you export?

note: doing an import (as i assume you know), over writes your hand held data with what is ever on the server at that time... (aka for those reading, use import with extreame caution)

since importing, I assume you have verified the game with the "missing hit charts" is still on your hand held (good)

I am not 100% sure if this will help, as i have not seen this problem before and can not re create. .. but worth a try

1) go to the game in question, and hit play and till you reach "game over" screen.
(in prior versions, game over screen forced a manual reclac of stats, perhaps this will help)

2) next email yourself game stats, (for both teams, leave all on, html, book, csv excel,) - see if this helps rebuild

3) re export (I know you have done already) but perhaps one of the above two steps will trigger a different send..

4) let us know .. if this helps or not..

5) email FTM your user customer ID and describe the problem, and game in question, they will be able to troubleshoot more deeply from there end..

We have had two customers email us about this, and both times they did not have the players in the Team Roster (in Team Manager). It appears people are scoring the game by creating the team, then adding the players in the Lineup for the game, but not copying them back to the Team Roster (which can be done by clicking Options from the lineup screen, and clicking Copy Lineup to Roster). The hit charts will only show for players that are in the Roster for the teams.
