Resizing uploaded Photos on Team Websites
We added the capability to automatically resize images that are uploaded to the Team Websites. There is now a dropdown where you can select "No Resize", "Small", "Medium", or "Large" when uploading the images.

nice change . . . just added photos in "small" format . . . question: how do I get rid of the "Large" ones that I added before?

When you are logged in as the administrator, you can go to the photos tab, and scroll to the upper right of the large pictures, and there will be a "Delete" button where you can remove the images you do not want.

Re: Resizing uploaded Photos on Team Websites
I can't for the life of me figure out how to edit the team websites I purchased. Where do you upload photos to??? I click on "settings", it asks for my password, and then I am just brought to a big empty homepage.
Re: Resizing uploaded Photos on Team Websites
first there are two passwords, Admin and guest password. if they are the same, you get some funny behavior. If same, suggest change to two different passwords,
The admin password you get (and can reset) from your handheld (Options menu > admin web site)
I will assume you are using the admin password.
Team Web Site Home Page
When you enter Admin password, (like you describe) it does usually bounces you to your home page, if you are on a small screen (laptop) you may need to Scroll down on home page sub window to see the big "an edit home page" button on the lower left. click it to open the home page editor mini app...
Team Web Site Photos
Once you are logged in as admin, click on the left menu item call photos, scroll down the main window it created for photos, and you should have browse and upload options
Team Web Site Settings
The settings menu on the left, has various settings including setting the guest password,

Okay...changed the admin password, and now can get into the settings. But I am still not able to insert a photo onto the main page. (I was able to do it on the photo page.) On the home page, I try to "insert a picture" under the headline type, and it is asking me for the URL.
Re: Resizing uploaded Photos on Team Websites
great news, that you are now - enjoy.
the home page is a mini "web page" and you edit with HTML code or html wsiwig editor. (very different than uploading photos). I have not tried to put pics on the home page. will let a more seasoned web guy reply. . b/c now a question of a whole different color...

Re: Resizing uploaded Photos on Team Websites
Unless you have your photos hosted somewhere else, I haven't found a method to display them directly on the home page.
You have to upload your photos to Google or some other free (or pay) hosting site and use those URLs to display your photos in your home page.
Check the Showcase for some examples of how others are displaying pictures on the home page.

I use an embedded slideshow to display photos - and an embedded map - both from google and google supplied the HTML to use on the site. Very quick and easy. If you want me to post more info let me know.

You can upload your images under Photos, then after it is uploaded, right click on the image to get the URL for that image. You can then use that URL when editing your home page to have it show there.
