Kd....What does this mean ?
Kd....What does this mean ?
Reading scorecard and noted that a Kd was denoted. Does anyone know what Kd means?

There is an issue logged to show the players involved in making the out (i.e. 2-3) Currently the score book omits the touches.

Re: Kd....What does this mean ?
I have also wondered, with respect to dropped 3rd strikes, how you record that as swinging? If (as I have been doing), I swipe the strike button, is it somewhere recording the swinging strike? I've wondered this before, because of the (otherwise redundant) screen that asks if a third strike is swinging or looking, regardless of whether you tap or swipe the strike button on a 3rd strike. That indicates to me that the swipe hasn't been recorded. Now, if it is a dropped third, you've lost the ability to indicate looking or swinging (the other two choices, besides dropped third strike).
The other possibility is that the swipe *has* been recorded, but the redundant screen still appears because it is possible that the ball was dropped and has to be accounted for. It just seems that, if that were the case, the "looking" button would be greyed out, overridden by the swiped strike you'd already indicated.

Re: Kd....What does this mean ?
You should always "swipe" for swinging strikes even if you then tap "Strikeout Swinging". This will record the pitch as swinging whereas the "Strikeout Swinging" records the strikeout event as swinging. The play listings will show swinging by using either method, but for consistency, always swipe the strike for a swinging strike.

Re: Kd....What does this mean ?
This brings up an interesting observation
strike (called),
strike (called),
strike (called),
DROP thrid strike... out
iscore gives the batters a Ks ( not a Kc..) . even though he never swung at a pitch..
is that by design?

Not uncommon for 10U players to drop a called strike 3.

Re: Kd....What does this mean ?
That is not by design --- we will take a look at getting this fixed for a future release. Thank you.

Re: Kd....What does this mean ?
...it looks like the scorecard shows the same notation (Kd) for an Out by Drop 3rd strike, called or swinging.. Perhaps also consider some tweak to the Kd score card notation.. to distinguish between KcD3 and KsD3.... ( not sure what the right notation is..)
just noticed for a drop 3 out, no red K (or backwards K), perhaps that could be all you need to distinguish on an out (the Kd you have plus the correct big K)
when safe, scorebool has D3PB and D3WP, (perhaps D3cPB or D3sPB) if room...
(by the way, is there a way to type a backwarks K in this forum ? )
