Hey Guys,
A couple of things....
1) Would it be possible to create a function to email newspapers a self generated recap of the game? Even if we emailed it to ourselves and then forwarded it to the papers it would save us a ton of time. As a high school coach, I have 5 newspapers I have to contact after each game. If the ISCORE could generate a scoring summary by inning (not pitch by pitch, just the scoring plays and what it made the score). In addition, the scoring summary should include what both team's record is (league and nonleague) that would help. Perhaps you could have the records manually entered like you do with the winning and losing pitcher.
2) Do you guys think the scorecast needs to be tightened a little? It seems to add duplication of explanation of what is happening. We love this feature and many of our players parents watch it but I just think it could be simplified.
3) I cant remember if I posted the request to email players their own stats without the entire team. If on the player card we simply entered their email and then have a tab that says email player stats, the app could use that info to deliver it.
Thanks again
Bob

Re: Scoring Summary, emailing papers
We have the newspaper style box score, and a simplified Play by Play listing available on the Admin Website. We will add the wish for "Scoring Plays" to our enhancement list.
The scorecast is intended to give the complete details of the play. If there is a particular type of play that you think can be worded better without losing detail, please let us know the specific example.
We will be adding individual player emailing in a future release. fwiw... on the Team Website add on, there are detailed stat pages for individual players if you click the player's name from any stat page (don't know if you have a Team Website or not).

Re: Scoring Summary, emailing papers
I just signed up for the website and that will be a great resource for my team. I was reluctant to do it because I do not want teams in our league to be able to see our stats, but it was great to see that you can password protect the information. In our league title game last year we were able to get all of our opponents stats off maxpreps and it really helped.
As far as the admin website, can you email that info or only view it?

You would have to copy/paste or do a "save-as" or "print to PDF", and then you can email the information. We do not have a way built into the website to send emails directly.

Re: Scoring Summary, emailing papers
coach bob.. I think you will find the team web site very nice. a future one stop shop for your team data.
Couple things to note..
* hit charts are only accessible from admin site at this time. (coming soon FTM says)
* cumulative stats, with player drill down is on the team site (player by game info)
* game specific stats (like you can email yourself) not available from website yet, but
* the game score card is, and the box score and play by play (less detailed than iscorecast and pitch by pitch)
the roster on the web site mirrors the roster in team manager, if you havea pick up player not in the team roster, they will not show up on web site. Unless you add them to team roster. also team web site can filter stats by league as you would expect.
all the stat tables are easily cut and pastable, and the PDfs can be "saved as" easily
Also how you update the team web site is kind of in three parts, when you export you update the underlying data to the team site, and when you send your self an email of a PDF score card, it captures it, and updates/replaces, the iscorecast is updated when you synch iscorecast from game info screen. I say this because it does not all happen with "one click" and sometimes if you go back and edit a game, you run the risk of getting them out of synch if you do not recall the three way update process. - enjoy.
