It sure would be tight trying to squeeze text where the purple line is. It can be at the top, middle, or bottom of a column of innings, and the text would wind up overlapping other text in the scorecard box. We have really utilized all the space we can in the boxes. Look at a scorecard, and you will see that depending on the situation, pretty much every area of the box is used in some situation.

understood, scorecard real estate is at a premium and you have done a great job cramming in a lot of great visual information in a very traditional format without overlapiing data. (watch out, brent will chime in on alternate scorecards soon i suspect).
just trying out ideas on how to get the pitcher number on the page.
another idea - create a special "pitcher row" on top of (or below) the batting order and call it Pitcher, put the number in the inning column, can hold multiples numbers, in the order of apperance, if multiple pitchers in an inning. (this is how we use to do it in pencil and paper form when not using the pitch tracking part of the book.. )
