League Season Box Scores

Post by Rix » Thu Apr 22, 2010 7:42 pm

Just thinking out loud.

In my "old" stat spread sheet, the first page was always the season's box scores for all games. It is just a nice and quick way to see how the team has fared during the season.

It would be nice if in the League Manager area, you could click on a league, then a team, then get the "box scores" that shows a page with all the teams box scores for that league.

If you go to League Manager, and turn on only the league you are interested in, then go back to Game Manager, it will show just the results for the that league's scoring. It does not filter by a particular team, but you could create a league called "Team A in XYZ league" and assign the games to that as well, and it would allow you to review just a specific team's data. There have been some clever uses of leagues if you search around the forum some more.

That's cool. But I'm suggesting a real box score with runs, hits, errors, and LOB. Then a nice little Wins-Loss box at the top to make it easy.

Again - not a complaint, just a way to add some improvements in the future. It would be easier (and make League Manager more robust) to allow a quick click to a button underneath each league to view standings.

Your way works fine as a stop gap. Thanks.
