Hi all
Yes, I've asked for this before....
It would be extremely helpful for my analysis of an ongoing game if I could see the current AVG (real-time calculation) of a batter on the main scoring screen.
Pleeease (in a begging tone)

How would you expect the average to be calculated? Average based on the currently selected league(s)? Just trying to further understand the request as there is not ust a single Average.

I think it would be best to show the updated calculation based on the currently selected leagues. I create leagues for each team we play so that I can see stats for the season, for a particular tournament, and how our players have done when playing a specific team.
Personally, a "live" AVG during a game does me no good. I already know how well (or not so well) a player was doing statistically prior to the game, I know how they are doing during the game (via the info that is displayed prior to each at bat). The minor variations in a batting average that would take place during a specific game would only be a novelty. IMHO.

I think it should be based on currently selected leagues.
In my case, mostly on MLB games, AL, NL and MLB are always selected. Also, I believe it would be helpful for postseason play (resetting everything at .000).
Then, there should be a way to avoid duplication, eg. if I download the MLB data, it already includes the stats for my previously scored games, so the calculation should not take into account both the download and the manually scored games, preferably just the official MLB downloaded data. From that data, do real time calculation at each at-bat (taking into account previous ABs from the game).
All this from the top of my head... hope it helps...

if implemented, would expect to be calculated based on "active leagues" only. Consistent with other aspects of the program filtering game, player, stats, hit charts by league. We can always set leagues to "all" if we want lifetime info.
