Post by isavem1 » Wed Apr 14, 2010 4:34 am

Hi,

After I have sent my game stats through email to my computer I have tried to open the Excel spreadsheet.

I get a "strict parce error" and it will not open the document.

any ideas??

thanks in advance!!

mentioned elsewhere in the forum..
On a Mac, you must be using Microsoft Excel 2008 or newer. You can see more information on Excel compatibility here:

Just use the CSV files instead.

Yes, CSV output will work with any version of Excel, and it will also work with Numbers. The Excel format is an "xml-based" format that Microsoft started supporting in newer versions of Excel (it is a more open format that developers can create Excel documents with, but requires newer versions of Excel).
