Hello,
Product is great for the iPad....
Here's an issue I can recreate every time and causes the app to crash...
1) during game scoring, record an out
2) press "ground out"
3) touch ball position where hit, press next
4) press some positions then press undo
5) app should crash
I've seen other crashes around adding/subbing players when scoring a game but can't nail it down yet (yes I bounced the iPad).
Also, love the iScoreCast ability but having it flash only limits the functionality. It would be real nice if we could view an iscorecast on the mobile device such as iphone/ipad... Even the ability to just get the play by play on a web page that any device could view would be a start...
Thanks

Re: App crash
It seems there has to be more to recreate the issue than just those steps. We just created a new game, selected teams for home and visitor, clicked Play.
Clicked Out
Ground Out
Touched position near shortstop
Touched Next
Touched SS-1B
Touched Done
Touched Undo
The play we entered was undone.
Maybe it is somehow related to the data or players involved in the play. If you can export your database to us (Options->Export), and email us your customer ID (bottom left of Options menu) to support@fasterthanmonkeys.com along with which a short description of which game and the key sequence you are using, we can see if we are able to reproduce the issue using your data.
Thank you.

Thanks for the reply.....
Redo your steps but don't click done..... Click the undo button that appears on the position popup not the undo button on the main screen

Re: App crash
Ah.. very good. We will get that fixed right away. Thank you.
Re: App crash
Also I've had the app crash in different spots around adding players/subbing during a game. I can't narrow it down yet but will report back if I can....
As a suggestion, if the app crashes and the users sync to iTunes, you will receive crash reports through iTunes connect which may help you narrow down where in the code these crashes are occurring. As a developer myself this helps me try and find the spot of the crash in the code when I can't recreate.... Btw I've synced so hopefully you have at least some crash reports...

Re: App crash
I did this during a game and it crashed the app, too. I'm very unhappy with the app's performance for $10. How do I get a refund?FTMSupport wrote:Ah.. very good. We will get that fixed right away. Thank you.

Re: App crash
The Undo button in the play entry screen does cause a crash, and was fixed for the release currently awaiting approval in the app store. For now, you can avoid using that button. NOTE: Standard undo works fine, so if you get in a situation where you press the wrong "touches" for a play, just finish entering the play, then Undo the whole Play (as opposed to the Undo button on the touches screen), and you can re-enter the play with the correct touches.
