I'm looking for the proper key stroke entry for the following situation;
1) runners on first, sencon and third with one out.
2) Batter hits into a double play to end the inning 6-4-3
When I did the scoring I heldup the runner on third and second and scored the runner from first to second out and the batter out at first using the double play key. But for some reason the score card scored the runner from third to home. What is the proper key entries?

Start with the batter being out as normal. Send the runner from third home, but touch "run not scored." Then advance the runner from second to third. Then mark out the runner on first: send him to second, mark him out, and select "double play".

Thank you very much jcbeckman for you answer. I am using the latest update and there are some new additions to it that I've overlooked and/or haven't become familar with.
Is there anyway to go into the play-by-play to edit this? I tried to but I can't get the third base runner to "did not score"?
Thanks again
Charlie

by design FTM has restricted the pitch-by-pitch editor to only edit non game outcome changing events (e.g can change a hit to and error, correct a substituition, etc. but you can not change a run from scored to not scored - that would effect the outcome) . it is grayed out by design. the only way to correct this is by going back and 'undo' your scoreing and then rescore. (not as horrible as it sounds)
other posts in this forum explain in more detail the rationale for the restricted editing, and also tips if you do decided to go back and undo.
