10 fielders in iscorecast

Post by campsdad » Tue Apr 06, 2010 4:47 am

We have 4 outgielders, but only 3 show up in iscorecast.

Is there a setting somewhere I adjust to change this?

iScorcast can display 4 outfielders. (I have done it multiple times). Most likely you need to double check your game options settings.

question, Are you are seeing 4 outfielders on your iPhone main scoring screen.

if you are seeing 4 outfielders on the scoring screen on your handheld but i scorecast does not match, FTM will need to respond.

If you are only seeing 3 outfielderes on your handheld, then it is probably a missed option settings and line up issue we can fix on your end.

settings ..
did you set your game option to 10 fielders when you set up the game? (do this from game manager, Options menu, choose Fielders 9/10 at game set up).

If you did not set this up at the start, you can change at any time from the main scoreing screen .... you do this from the tools icon (bottotm right) then the settings icon (bottom left) choose Fielders 9/10

if you have set this option correctly, you should get a (?) in the fourth outfielder position on defense, until you set the OF position in your line up.

In starting line up/substituition screen the 4th outfielder is denoted as "OF".

I do see 4 outfielders in my iPhone during live scoring...but, when I watched the iscorecast later last night I only saw three outfielders.

One issue I do have sometimes is when I set up a new game via game manager I set the fielders to 10 but when I open up the scoring screen in a game it only has 9 until I change it in the utilities option from on the scoring screen. After that, the OF position becomes available. I'm guessing that when I set up my game and set it at 10 fielders, the setting isn't being remembered. (I'm just guessing here, I'm sure I'm wrong.)

With the current version, each time you create a new game, you have to remember to set the number of fielders to 10 as it will always default to 9 for new games. Our next release remembers whatever you use, and uses that as the default for future games. You can always go to the Tools option from within the scoring screen to update the number of players. If you want to get iScorecast updated to 10 players for games that did not start with 10 players, you should be able to go to Game Manager, select the game, scroll down to i-ScoreCast Synchronize, and click that. This will re-send the game to the iScorecast server, and it should be updated with any changes you have made.

I'll try to make the adjustments at Friday's game.
