I know it's rare, but runner 1st and 2nd, line drive to SS, 6-4-3 triple play. I scored it by batter OUT - line drive to SS. Runner on 2nd OUT by triple play, runner on 1st, OUT by triple play.
iScore incorrectly gave TWO triple plays to stats.
I edited later the runner on 2nd to OUT by "Left Early". Is that the way you do it?

Re: Triple Play
The way to enter it would probably be
Batter Out, Line Drive, SS
Runner on 2nd Out, Force Out
Runner on 1st Out, Triple Play
If you want to use Left Early, that is probably OK, but that is really intended as an indicator for cases like youth baseball and softball where there are rules about when the runner is allowed to leave the base before trying to steal (pitcher has to have released the ball in fast pitch softball for example).
In the case of a line drive, and getting the runner who was off the bag, that is usually just marked as a force out.

Re: Triple Play
Does that method give the correct stats to all players involved? In other words, PO and A for SS, PO and A for 2B, and PO for 1B?? Normal double play would be the same except for the PO for SS, no?
I was trying to remember the situation I had, and I can't. When it asks for the players involved in making the outs, is it just for the batter or for the entire play? For instance, ball hit to CF, runner on 2B, CF throws home and tags runner and then throws to second and tags batter.
That would be hit single, runner tagged at home (CF, C in play) and then when it asks about batter, tagged at second (On the throw?) (C and 2B in play)...correct?

Re: Triple Play
It should ask for the "touches" for the batter and for the "runners" separately... you would not enter all the touches as one long entry.
