Is there a way to edit stats after a game without going back using undo feature to reinput. For example, if I failed to make a pitcher change in the middle of a game or did not make a proper batter substituion I will have inaccurate stats.
Please advise me if there is a way to edit and validate the stats so I do not have to go back to the game and undo..
I will have a problem using this program if there is not a way to edit and validate the stats. Please help.. I like the iscore on my iphone better than any other laptop based scoring program, however I must have this feature.. PLEASE HELP!!

We responded to your other thread as well. You can make substitutions after the game, and all stats are updated automatically. Just go to the Game Manager, click the game, click Pitch by Pitch, click the pitch where the substitution(s) should be made, and you can make the substitution (offensive or defensive) at that point. All statistics will automatically be updated to reflect the change.

Thank you... That solved it..
Re: Edit after a game question
We had a situatution last night where the scorekeeper had 11 players batting for the other team, but only 10 did. When the 11th player game up, she forgot how to delete the player and so we started gettting off All the plays are correct, just the batter is wrong. Anyway to fix that now? I deleted the player off the lineup, but it doesn't automatically move all the abtters up 1. Will I have to rescore? I would like to have the stats for those batters as we play them again.

There is not a way to move all the at bats. iScore ties the at bat data with a batting lineup position. Since data was entered in the 11th spot, there is no way to remove the 11th spot. By storing at bats by lineup position, we always allow you to change who the actual player was, but once recorded, you can not remove lineup spots as the stored information would then be wrong.
We always advise while scoring to look at the on deck batter to make sure it is who you expect. You can always remove a player from the lineup while scoring if someone doesn't show up (or skip a batter but leave them in the lineup), but once an at bat is scored, the lineup position of the at bat data can not be changed.
Hope this makes sense.

Re: Edit after a game question
I'm having a problem, i missed an RBI in the beginning and tried to go back and correct, the program won't let me score the runner that advanced to third. There was a man on second and third, batter hit a single and both runners scored, i don't understand why i can't have the man on second score. I was thinking maybe because the runner on third score making home occupied. What can i do?
Re: Edit after a game question
iscore (in current versions) allows you to edit things that materially change the outcome of the game.. they do not allow you to make 'game changing' edits.. because of the ripple effects this creates to later plays. sounds like you are trying to change the score of an inning and that is not allowed post fact by pitch by pitch edit. You could undo your way back and re enter (yes hard and time consuming). Many places in the forum have discussed the pro/cons on FTM strategy to restrict editing to non game altering edits. . but for now it is what it is.
