This last weekend I was scoring a game. I created the game and set the lineups before the game started. We were visitors. We went through our half of the first inning without problem. When the home team came up to bat, the batting order displayed on the app did not match what was entered for the starting lineup.
I tried exiting, restarting, adjusting the starting lineup, but the order continued to be wrong.
I eventually had to create another game, skip all the action from our first inning and pickup at the bottom of the first.
I will eventually go back into the game and fix the completed game, but I wanted to give you the chance to examine the database before I do.

Re: Batting Order Miss Match to Starting Lineup
I suspect you ran across a glitch that has been reported elsewhere in forum . When you set line up then exit game and return. Line up does not "fully stick" --program adds back active players from current team manager roster not In game lineup. Users have poasted This elsewhere as a 'bug' as it does not seem intuitive. The work around is to double check line up when you return, or make sure players not in game line up are noted as inactive in team manager roster .
Again This is a known bug that needs to be fixed ( in my opnion) that has been reported elsewhere on forum
Update: support posted laster, the design is program will add to game line up a new addition to a team roster but will not remove a player from line up no longer in team roster, support recommends not prescheduling games to far in advance.
