iScore Central app crashes

Post by kdcracer » Tue Nov 10, 2015 7:13 am

Everytime that I attempt to add a team to "My Favorites" in the iScore Central app it says the app has stopped and then shuts down. This is happening on 4 different Android devices.

What version does it say at the bottom of the screen when you tap the three bar menu in the upper left corner? What type of device? What version of Android OS? What are the exact steps you are using? Are you logged in to the iScore Central app (you can not add favorites if you are not logged in)?

We just tried on a Galaxy S5. Opened iScore Central, tapped on the first game that appeared, tapped the "..." in the upper right, and selected the "Add Cardinals to Favorites" (Cardinals happened to be the first team listed). It worked as expected.

If you can give us more information so we can reproduce the issue, that would be great.

iScore app version: 1.11.01
Android version: 5.01 on phone, 4.4.2 on tablet
Devices: Samsung Galaxy S4 and a Samsung Galaxy Tab 8"

If I use your steps I can add the team to favorites, but I would have to say that is not the way that most will search and then add a team. Most will search for a team, scroll the list, select a team, select the "..." in the upper right corner, and then choose "add to favorites" from the pop-up at the bottom of the screen. If I perform these steps (again on 4 different devices), the app crashes every time. I am thankful that you showed me a way around the issue, but it is not very intuitive. Thanks again for your help!
