iscorecast Premium - No Audio on Ipad

I just bought the Premium iscorecast for iPad and the audio will not work. I tried logging off and back on. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. Nothing works. I have clicked "settings" and turned on audio, but if you go to the audio settings, the "test" button does not work.

Is it possible you have mute turned on on your iPad? Or the volume turned all the way down? What version of iOS are you running and which iPad do you have?

I have checked the volume/mute on the iPad multiple times. Doesn't seem to be an issue. The iPad is a 4th gen iPad, 32GB bought in 2013. I have not updated to the latest iOS because I didn't want the iWatch app on my iPad, but it has been updated every other time a new iOS was been issued.

The Audio feature does require iOS 7 or newer... so just to confirm, you are at least on iOS7?

When you tap the three bar menu in the upper left, does it say "Audio is Off" or "Audio is On" in the bottom left menu options? If it says Off, be sure to tap it to toggle the audio On.

Slide your finger up from the bottom of the screen to see the control options. Make sure the little bell icon is gray. If it is white, you will not get the audio from iScore. It should be gray.

I have tried every conceivable volume/audio control on the iPad, but nothing works. We had a team party tonight and I played with another parent's iPhone and the audio worked perfectly. I have updated the iOS to 8.4, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, logged out and logged back in. Nothing has worked. Tried multiple games, both from my own team and from current games listed on the front page when I open the app. Haven't been able to get the app to play audio once.

Yes, Siri woks fine. Just checked and Siri has no problems.

Unfortunately we can not think of anything else that would make it work on someone else's device, but not yours. You may want to try contacting Apple support and asking what settings there may be that could prevent the audio.

Does the audio work OK for games? The audio path for games is the same as for iScore. If it works for games and not iScore then I suspect a problem with iScore. If you get no audio from your games, then I suspect the mute setting on the iPad is on.

If you think that might be the problem, Google "iPad mute" to found out how to toggle the mute on and off.
