Recover season data?

The iscore app on our iPad was deleted. When we downloaded the app we noticed it only has old data. When we looked at iScoreCast.com we saw all of the missing stats but we can't get the data. I don't think we synced our iPad so the data is not in our cloud. Our hope is that you can recover it for us. Possible? If you need our ID I can provide it but not in a forum discussion.

yes there is a way to retrieve iSocrecast games if you have the user id and password from the original device that created them ..

the trick is to put SC: in front of the user id in Data sharing.

basically…
Iscore > Options > Data Shareing > Get from Web Data Base > SC:USERID & PASSWORD from original scoring device > you should see a list of iscorecasts games you can retrieve.


now for the public service message…

* it is recommended practice to Option > Export after every game to maintain a back up on the iscore servers.

If you did Option Export, you can register an old device id and new device id to a common email and then log onto the admin web site to copy data from one device to another and then Option Import to your device . also, Curious.
When you re downloaded the APP, it comes w/o any data. how did you get old data on? (did you restore from a computer back up or from within option > import) .

Ohiotex, they did not get a new device, just re-installed iscore on old device. Does this change your answer?

If you have not export games but have iscorecast we then . The "trick" is the addition of "SC:" in front of user in options data share function..

Option > data sharing > get from web > user is = sc:deviceid and password of device that scored the original iscorecast game

Depending on type of reinstall ( new download or restore from computer) and type of operating system (iOS or android) a re install may change the device ID - even if same physical device ..
