not running a licensed version?
We just recently made the switch as a High School program to all iScore. The lower levels had been using iScore for some time while the varsity used another product. In an effort to align our teams and "pass on" the rosters and statistics we are trying to data share. Our freshman device will not allow any emails out of stats or allow us to transfer their team. A message keeps coming up that they are not running a licensed version? Please help...

Re: not running a licensed version?
On an Android device the licensing issue occurs if the Google Play market does an iScore license check while you are not connected to the internet. It will cache the license check for some period of time (Google Play market does this), but occasionally needs to actually check again.
To fix the issue, you should start iScore, then use the "back arrow" on your device to exit all the way out. This makes sure iScore is not running. Make sure you are connected to the internet, then start iScore again, and you should be able to use iScore without the license check message. You do not need internet access to score games, and this license check only occurs occasionally.
You also need to be sure you are logging in to Google Play with the account that iScore was originally purchased with. Google can only verify the license if you are logged into the account that made the purchase.

Re: not running a licensed version?
I will contact our Freshman coach and try that later today. The other issue is that when I attempted to get data from the web database via his customer id - he has NO password listed. Has he not set up something???

He would set up the password on the Options -> Admin Website screen in iScore on his device.
