Post by SSachs » Fri May 30, 2014 12:03 pm

ON my ipad iscore app , i went back in after a game to player manager to view a players batting average and iscore combined a totally different kids at bats with the person i was viewing. Can i edit this out , if so how do i do it.
I also deleted this person out of player manager, then went to admin site and brought player back to player manager but my problem is he was not brought back into team stats..

It sounds like you may have renamed a player when scoring instead of creating a new player. There is an internal ID for each player, and stats are tracked against that internal ID. So if you call a player "John Doe" one game, and rename the player in a lineup the next game to "Joe Smith", he is still the same player internally.

You can create new players and sub in the right players to fix this post game by following the instructions here:

http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _edits.php

To get a player to show on Team Stats, they must exist in the Team Roster. Go to Team Manager, select the team, select Roster, and add any missing players there by selecting the Add Player option and choosing the player from the list of players.

can i edit the player stats in player manager or is there any other way to edit.
i created a new player in team manager and named him along with a jersey number. After the game was over iscore added player number tens at bats to my players stats. Player #10 was from a different team we played over the weekend. I can fix this if there is a way to edit stats..
thanks for your time

The link we sent in the previous post tells both how to sub in the correct players post game as well as how to override stats. Overriding stats has to be done when viewing stats for the game if that is the way you would like to do it.

The you sent does not let me edit in player manager. The player exists in game manager but when I go to team manager and look at team stats the player is not there...
When I go to player manager the player is there but there is someone else's stats added in.
I need to add player to team stats also edit in player manager to get rid of stats that are not his.

If the stats on a player are not for the right player, it means you scored the game with the wrong player, or renamed the player in a subsequent game. Each player has an underlying ID, and if you change the player's name from game to game, it is still the same player.

You can use the post game editing link we sent (http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _edits.php) to go into the game that has the stats for the wrong player, and put the right player in that player's spot in the starting lineup and/or sub in the right player as needed. The stats will then be associated with the correct player.
