"New Season" question

Hello all. HS softball coach. new season about to start. I've got my roster and most of my opponents rosters inputted into iscore. What do I need to do to make sure my team totals are correctly updated with cumulative individual and team stats after each game? I am about to go paperless but want to make sure I have a handle of how to compile the stats in Iscore.

Also, should I create a whole new roster from last year's team? Or should I simply edit the team I created a year ago and remove graduating players and add new players?

Some people decide to create a new team each year, and others re-use the same team form year to year and just set the graduating players to Inactive. If you create a new team, you can still view cumulative stats for a player across years by viewing the player card. If you set graduating players to inactive and use the same team, then you can use Leagues to view stats from year to year. See the following:
