general help - frustrated

Post by CameronB » Sun Mar 16, 2014 6:49 pm

I used this the first time today and am stymied by a couple things. First I can't seem to figure out adding another batter to a lineup or a roster after the game has started or has ended. In the game lineup, I thought they had 14 batters but they had 16 but I didn't find out until I finished the lineup. I cannot find how to add another batter...I am able to edit the ones already there but not add another...what am I missing?

Same in Team Manager...I setup teams and put some batters in but I can't add another. Also, I tried to copy the lineup from the game to a Roster I thought would update the team roster in Team Manager but it does not seem to do anything when I say to copy lineup to roster.

Regarding diferent devices...the team coach setup stuff online and on his tablet then sent me his login...I am the scorekeeper. So, I downloaded the app and it gave me a different - my own - login. But I login with his user name and password and score the game, but I can't see it loaded to the website. Does he need to go in on his device and pull in my info or something?

To add another player to a lineup during the game, tap Misc -> Show Starting Lineup, and you can add any players you would like. Just tap the Add Player option while on the lineup screen.

In Team Manager, select the team, select Roster, and you can use Add Player from there to add more players to a roster.

When you use Copy Lineup to Roster, it will copy any players in the current lineup that are not already in the underlying team roster to that roster. See Tip #6 at the following link for more information on the difference between rosters and lineups:

We are not sure what you mean on the third question where you are saying you log in with his user name and password and score a game. There is no login required to score games. Scoring is done on your device. If your coach wants a copy of the game you have scored, it can be transferred to the coach's device by using Data Sharing as described here:
