Twitter from scoring screen

Twitter works at end of each half inning, but when I touch the bird at the bottom of the scoring screen the word TWEET appears in the middle of the diamond but it doesn't get to the followers. Am I doing something wrong? iPhone 5, iOS 7. Thanks

I think a tweet is supposed to be sent by tapping on the bird on the lower right of the screen. However, I never receive the tweet when I try it. Is anyone else having this problem?

Have you enabeld TwiterCast from the OPTIONS menu (from the home iscore page) ? You must first enable under options and get a test tweet .

( of course, when you Tweet while scoring, you must have a valid internet connection. )

On iPhone 5, there should not be a bird at the bottom of the scoring screen. That is only on iPads. WIth iPhones, you swipe the "scoreboard" at the top to the left, and there is a Twitter icon. Tap that and a tweet will be sent.

We just tested on an iPhone 5 with iOS7 (as your original message states) and it worked fine.

Twitter automatically filters tweets to not send the same one twice, so if you are sending the exact same tweet multiple times, only the first one would go through.

You may want to try de-authorizing your account on the Twittercast option screen, then entering your twitter account information again to re-authorize, and see if that helps.

Geez, I must have been too tired when I posted this. I was using an iPad 4 (air), not an iPhone. I was using the iPhone to monitor twitter. Everything is working fine. User error.
