iscore crashes editing pitch by pitch and code in play-by-pl

Post by slugbeast99 » Sat Feb 22, 2014 5:52 am

I scored my first real game live and am still getting accustomed to the interface, etc. A run accidentally scored on a third force out so I'm not sure what I did wrong. It was too late to do several players of undo once I realized the problem. I removed the run from the scoreboard with the misc. button. After the game, I went to the website to find out how to edit this using pitch-by-pitch. I found where the player scored, pressed the edit button, and the app crashes "Unfortunately, iScore has stopped", and it goes into a loop of the same message when I press "report" or "OK". After several iterations it'll go to the "report" where I have submitted messages similar, but shorter, than this.

I have iScore version 4.43.217 being used on an Asus transformer tablet model K00C, with Android 4.3.

How can I get this fixed?

Also, this shows up on my play by play:

Foul, Ball, ADJUST: { guid=828a0e33-2863-4b9d-1235-11c80d26b290, update_dt=1393029040.871, type=ADJUST, bt_act=, ft_act=, home_at_bat=7, visitor_at_bat=2, visitor_score=0, home_score=0, outs=1, inning=2, top_inning=1, courtesy_runners=, strikes=0, } : Prev=, Ball, Ball,

How do I clean this up?

I emailed you with my customer ID and exported the info.

I've also included step by step what I did so you can recreate it on a tablet after importing my data to it.

I had same issue first 2 games of this season. Received the " Unfortunately iScore has stopped" message while attempting to edit the play by play. Report did not work so I chose OK and all information about the game, including the game listing itself in Game Manager, disappeared.

Happened again the next night.

I deleted the players and the visiting team for the first game but get the feeling that the at bats, etc. for that incomplete game are still in the system. Haven't done anything with the second one but the game is gone and statistical info for that - also incomplete - game is still showing up in the player cards.

Using version 4.43.217 on Samsung Galaxy 10.1 android 4.2.1 ( jelly bean).

Finally, last night I got bored and left at the end of the 5th inning with the score 15 to 1. Used the Misc button to select End Game or Game Over or some choice similar to those. That game has also disappeared.

Any suggestions?

Just looked at, or rather for, the game I scored this afternoon. It has also disappeared from the game manager screen. Saw in another post that may be caused by turning off a leag5. Checked - I only have 2 leagues, All and Default and both are checked on.

Checked the player card of a player that played in the last 3 games (my 2nd game - system crashed but I didn't delete it, the game I scored and left after the 5th and the one we played today. Player card shows that he played in all 3 games, but none of the games show up in Game Manager.

Had no problems at all last year, going nuts with the first 5 of this year. HELP !

For those who may have been reading this thread, I wanted to post an update on my situation.

FTM Support contacted me within 30 minutes of when I posted my comments. I exported my data and they reviewed it and explained my problem with disappearing games - that was, as the saying goes, an operator error. For the crash problem, they posted an update to the program that completely fixed it.

You can't get better support than that.

Thanks guys.
