I just updated to 4.43 and on the first game I scored ran in to a problem which makes iScore completely unusable. I have never seen this problem on any other release include 4.20 which was my previous installed version.
When I create a new game and then press Play in the Game Info screen, the scoring screen opens with the starting rosters displayed. If I could attach a screen shot I'd show you what I see, but since I can't I'll try to explain it. The Home team roster is displayed, and correct. The Done button, in the top left corner of the roster window is present but not activatable. In other words I see the box with the word "Done" in very light gray color. I word "Done" is not in white color like the rest of the buttons. Pressing the Done button does nothing. In other words I am not able to close the roster window and go to the scoring screen. The other five buttons in the roster window(Add, Options, Visitor, Home and Sync) are displayed correctly. I have not been able to find any way to get the Done button to activate. I've tried moving players in the line up. I've tried Adding players, Syncing, copying lineup to roster, changing from home to visitor, nothing works. In other words I am stuck. I cannot get to the scoring screen by any obvious method. The only thing I can do is use the Android soft buttons to go to the home screen or go back to the Game Info screen.
I have found that if I flail long enough and randomly push the back or play button eventually iScore will open the score scoring window. When that does happen, only the home team lineup is populated. The visitor lineup is blank.
With this update, iScore has become completely unusable for me. I am running on an ASUS ME301T tablet with Android 4.2.1.

Re: Android 4.43 game roster issues - impossible to score game
It sounds like the issue is that you only have at least one player batting on one team. You must have at least one player set to batting on each team in order for the Done button to be enabled. As we mentioned in the other post, if you export and email us, we can take a look at your data.

That's exactly the problem. Thank you. I had edited the home team's roster on the iscore website but I just included names an jersey numbers, I didn't set the batting option.FTMSupport wrote:It sounds like the issue is that you only have at least one player batting on one team. This brings up a suggestion, it would be good if a warning popped up when a roster is saved (either on the website or in the app) with no batters selected. Maybe I'm the only one dumb enough to ever do this but a message indicating the problem will probably help prevent this in the future.

For those reading along.. This is not a version issue. The same thing holds for all iOS and android versions past and present .
