Setting up multiple devices for multiple scorers, in multiple divisions ...
I am setting up the teams ok (using the League function) on the 3 devices that I have and transferring info ok ...just wondering if someone comes to me wanting to score for one of my teams, they have their own device already set up with the App and have "registered" to a different e-mail address, because they have been using the device for another league
...then how do I grant them access to the team lists I have set up?? And likewise send me back the stats I need after the game.
I cant seem to see a way to register to different users??
Is it an issue that I have registered 3 devices under the same club name "Thornlie Hawks" and used the same e-mail registration for all 3?
I feel like a dumbo ...have been at this for hours!!
Thanks in advance.

Re: Multiple Scorers
There are two ways you can transfer teams between devices without having to be registered to the same email. One is data sharing as described here:
http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _share.php
The other is the "Discover" functionality which may actually work better if you are just trying to keep teams in sync. To use Discover, go to Team Manager, and select the Discover Team option, then select iScore, then iScore Device and enter the Customer ID of the device you want to copy a team roster from. Click the Go button and it will ask for the password of the device. It will then show the teams from the device and let you choose one to import to your device.
There are also settings on the Admin Website (log in at http://my.iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) on the Settings screen where you can check a box to allow "Discover" without requiring a password, or you can set the Data Share password only from there as well (as opposed to giving out the Admin password).

Re: Multiple Scorers
* echoing Support posts review the Data Share FAQ That is what you need to become very familiar with
http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... _share.php
* to the specific questions…..
The source or scoring device needs to do an OPTION > EXPORT to post the data to the iscore servers
then the receiving device does OPTIONS -> DATA SHARING -> GET FROM WEB DATABASE to retrieve from iscore server
The password can be either the master password or one set specifically for data sharing:
- The Master Password is set on the device under OPTIONS > ADMIN WEB SITE (and changing this temporarily for walk ups is very easy and common way to handle one off in person walk up requests) (assuming you have internet connectivity
- the Data Sharing (only) Password can be set permanently from my.iscorecentral.com (ie. the ADMN WEB SITE ) .. Look under the SETTINGS MENU at the top of the page. enter password and save. then provide 'data sharing password 's receiving users.

A. not a problem. "walk up requests to handle data share is commonplaceThornlie Hawks wrote: ...just wondering if someone comes to me wanting to score for one of my teams, they have their own device already set up with the App and have "registered" to a different e-mail address, because they have been using the device for another league ...then how do I grant them access to the team lists I have set up?? A. You can't register to a third party user, but not an issue. because You do not need to have devices 'registered' to a common email to "DATA SHARE"Thornlie Hawks wrote: I cant seem to see a way to register to different users??
