Switch hitting

Post by Sgsox » Thu Dec 12, 2013 1:11 pm

My son is a switch hitter and I would like to track his success as a lefty and as a righty (full stats and spray charts).

I do not want to create a "new player" as I'm sure you can all imagine the scoring problems that would ensue.

Please help.

Thanks.

There is nothing built into iScore for viewing stats when batting from left vs right side of plate. The optional TruMedia add on allows viewing batting stats "vs Lefties" or "vs Righties" (which typically corresponds to the batter batting from the opposite side of the plate).

Thanks for the really quick reply.

As for the TruMedia add-on, once I buy it, will I just continue on in iScore as usual?

Will it provide any new analysis of previously entered at-bats or games?

Thanks.

Yes, you would use iScore as usual. Any time you do an export, the TruMedia system will look for new data and add it to their analysis. It will take all your historical iScore data and analyze that as well.

True Media will provide a whole lot of new analyis options..depending on how detail you score using iscore.. If you score lefty/righty at bats. You can analyze them, if you score pitch types.. You can analyze it,, . You use iscore like normal to score the game and create the data that true media takes to the next level of analysis... Very slick

I didn't know it was a subscription thing. Is there a trial? Maybe I'll wait until closer to the season to sign up. Thanks.

There is not a trial, but you can subscribe for as little as one month at a time.
