unable to set up a new team website

The past two years I have set up team websites for our stats. Last year I started coaching two teams and bought another ipad so we could use iscore with both teams. Had a conflict last year that you helped me resolve: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=4811" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This year I am having a different problem. Trying to buy new websites for each team I am getting the same error message on both ipads: "This item is for an app that was purchased by a different Apple ID. To buy this item with this Apple ID you must first purchase the app." This error message is not true, I was the person using my apple ID (same that it's been for years) who originally bought this app!

The fix you recommended last year is also not working because when I go to Admin under options there is no teams tab. It is simply displaying a user id and password. I think this may be because my team websites from last season haven't expired yet? Dunno. Either way I'm stuck please help!

FWIW my original ipad is an ipad 1 running on IOS 5.1.1 which is considered up to date for this device. The version of iscore is v4.15.

The second ipad is an ipad 2 running on IOS 7.0 also on iscore v4.15

you mention both versions of iscore being 4.15. (the most current version is v4.2 for iOS)
Lets first try and update the iScore version and let me know if you get an Apple App store error
I will be curious if you can update through Apple Store.

(iScore 4.20, came out with the iOS7 update) and it also runs on the iPad 1 on iOS5


EDITED UPDATE : before you update from iscore v 4.15 to v 4.2, Since you are using multiple devices, , If you have not already, I recommend registering each device to a common email address to gain additional functionality with the Admin Web site. do this on each handheld device, at Options > Register (do this before you update to iscore v 4.2 if you can.)

you can purchase team webs sites from within the iscore app on your handheld, using the Apple ID originally used to purchase the iscore app. or you can purchase outside the app using from the web (when signed into your devices Admin Team Site) ..

you have confused the suggestion on the fix..

Go to te Account tab on the Admin Website and there is an option there to purchase a team website.

the suggestion was to go to the Teams Tab on the Actual Admin Web site located at http://my.iscorecentral.com/ so you can purchase "outside the app"


to purchase a team web site outside the app..
on your handheld device,
1) create the new team ,
2) do an Options > Export (so the iscore server know of the new team you just made)
then on the web
3) go to http://my.iscorecentral.com/
4) Sign in (with user ID and password you can get from your handheld device at Options > Admin Website )
5) click on TEAMS (upper left)
6) select the New team from selector box (upper right)
7) click on New Team Web Site Button (middle left of page)
8) follow prompts.


while on the Admin Web site you may want to make sure and check out the functionality under ACCOUNT MENU (right side).
If you register each handheld device to a common Email, you enable the ability to manage what team web sites are assigned to what team .

OK I was able to do this and the first thing I notice on the new websites I just bought are I no longer have the drop down box so I can sort by leagues. It just says "leagues All" and I can't modify it. Is this a glitch on the website or did I do something wrong?

Make sure that (1) you have leagues assigned to your team on your device before exporting and (2) on your website make sure you have league options "guest selectable" checked under settings.
