I can't quite figure out the login restrictions. There are checkboxes under "Require GUEST logon to" for each of the pages. Below that there is "Passwords" box for Guest, Photo, & API. What is "API"? What is the password box for "Photo" used for? If the I don't select PHOTO under the Guest logon section, I can't get to the photo page. Essentially, there are 3 sets of access I'd like:
1) Coaches = everything (including stats)
2) parents/players = everything except stats
3) Guests = no games, stats, or roster details (only first name, last initial), no photos (but this can be handled when forwarded to another site)

Re: Login restriction settings
There are really only two protection levels... password protected or not. If you set a page to require a password, the password can be the guest or Admin password. The difference between the two is that Guest password is always read only. The Admin password allows editing of the site (and is what is set on the device itself).
The Photo password is a separate password that allows someone to upload photos to the site. You can give this password to people if you want them to be able to post pictures to your site.
The API password is for using the Team Website API. If you are a developer, know a developer, or use a plugin to access data programmatically, the API password is how this would be done.

Re: Login restriction settings
Thanks. Can I purchase another site for the same team? If so, I can assign different permissions for each website; one for coaches (who will have access to stats) and one for parents/players.

Re: Login restriction settings
Yes you can. Would have to be done through the Admin Website but would work fine.

Welcome to the forum
Wow. I like to call attention to new and creative ideas.. And this is one .
I have not heard of anyone Driving two sites for one team .. But I can see why...
Once you set them up., it will be no more maintenance than for one .. Just Option > Export..
Please report back if you go this route.. So others can learn from your experience ..
