Twitter feed
Twitter feed
I've noticed that the Twitter function only updates automatically at the beginning and end of the game. No updates whatsoever during the game, unless I manually send them periodically. I figured that out last night and I was making it work, but it was one more thing for me to worry about. Why can't this program post automatically after each play, as they are in iScore baseball? The number of plays in football may be more, but I don't see why you can't allow the same function for this program. It would make my job easier, and isn't that the point behind this whole thing?
Re: Twitter feed
FYI - baseball does not tweet after every play ,
but you can tweet as frequently as you desire..
there has been discussion in the past on how much the program should tweet automatically or not and the majority of community feedback leaned to automate less not more.. allow user flexibility to tweet more ..because there are a variety of user preferences, some prefer to tweet all some just on their teams activity, or a single player activity. , some just start and end. some by period, / quarter/ inning. etc. with the variety of user preferences the developers have gone with less not more approach - allowing users the ability to tweet more if they desire with a click on icon, easily accessible and visible on scoring page in tablet versions.

Re: Twitter feed
For live play by play updates you can enable iScorecast which gives complete running details of the game to people over the internet and a lot more information as well.

Re: Twitter feed
I have enabled Scorecast and use it frequently. I'm just trying to offer my readers as many options as possible to follow the games when they're not there. I'm getting the hang of tweeting more often, but it's still a pain in the behind to have to type in the time. I've disabled the clock feature and manually input the time, but the clock resets to zero on each play. Change that (please).
Re: Twitter feed
It would be nice in football to have some options for automatically tweeting big events, like scoring plays or turnovers. I agree that iScorecast is best for play-by-play, but as the official scorekeeper, I don't have time to tweet and keep score. That would be much easier to do in baseball, but not football.

Re: Twitter feed
+1 on tweeting more often. I also am the main scorekeeper and that's one less button I would need to press. Just give some options to tweet every play or not, allow people to turn it on or off.
