Rollover Teams to New League

Post by jcbrown » Sun Sep 22, 2013 8:32 am

New season starting. Most teams will have similar rosters to previous season. Is there a way to pick a previous team, bring the entire roster to a new team, and then edit any minor changes in that new team (delete/add players)?

You can choose to use same team for season 2 or create new team for season 2.

I prefer new team each season but you can take an existing team in team manager and edit roster

I also use leagues to keep stats separate .

I prefer new team as well, but the only way I have found is to add each player from the player list. I haven't been able to "rollover" the team to a new team. I don't want to merge team and lose the previous year. Make sense?

There is not a way to "copy and paste" a group of players from old Team A to new Team B on the handheld device.

I do not know of any 'shortcuts' to accomplish what you want ..... The normal method is to create a new team in team mangager on your handheld ..then "Add player" and " pick from list" For each player on your new team roster..

(The only small tip I have is you can use "temporary leagues" to filter the player list to make add player list shorter .. Not a lot of time saving but perhaps some)

Using the admin site does not help either, b/c although on admin site you can add multiple players to a team in a cut and paste approach, the players would not be associated With the pre existing player.. Leaving you with two John Smiths.. who you would need to merge later

Perhaps FTM cab put on their list for future consideration ... "copy team function"
