Multiple Team Management

Post by brandtjr » Mon Sep 16, 2013 1:38 pm

How do I set up seperate websites for each of the teams that I manage? I currently have a site established for one team and I've been exporting/importing stats and using the site effectively for over a year. Now I manage a second team and I'd like to keep the data seperate.

You can create a new team website for your new team. A single device can have any number of team websites and the data will be kept separate for each.
Check out the new iScore Baseball documentation page!
Includes videos and user manual.

a small point of clarification for those reading.

Team Web Sites are an optional purchase for $19.99 / year
(after a year you will be prompted to renew your subscription)

When you purchase the team web site, you get to choose a URL NAME
for example URL http://iscorebaseball.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;NAME
and the web site is then linked specifically with that one team on your handheld device
(if during the year you change handheld devices you can transfer the URL assignment from old device to new device. using the Admin Web Site)

if you decide to change the team on your device that you want associated with the Team Web Site URL (from NAME to NewNAME for example) you can do that at any time also using the admin web site, but the URL http://iscorebaseball.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;Name remains the same. If you want to change the URL, http://iscorebaseball.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;NewName you would have to purchase a new team web site.

so yes a device can host multiple Team Web sites, but depending on your needs, it may or may not require a second purchase

I do not believe this is a price grab attempt by the developers, just explaining the technical practicality of how it works
