Stolen bases by pitcher

Post by Afjb » Mon Sep 02, 2013 9:01 am

Hi, I was wondering if there was anything in the current stat package that shows stolen bases by pitcher. I see where there is a pick off and failed pick off stat column, but if a pitcher allows a stolen base, where is that generated in your stat package?

Thanks in advance.

Not by pitcher. The CS and SBA fielding stats are tracked for Catchers as they are the ones that are credited with catching a runner stealing (or with the stolen base attempt).

Ok, thanks. I do see that baseball-reference.com does have the stat by pitcher too. I'm not sure when they added it.

baseball-reference.com has a superb collection of stats.. Unfortunately, probably more than iScore will ever be able to generate or its general user base would use..

FTMsupport has shown in the past it takes customer/forum members requests seriously and puts on its 'big board' for future consideration.. showing SB and SBA vs pitcher may be something they consider in the future,

It's not a big deal, but something a few may like to track and see which pitchers are more prone to not holding runners on as well.

Thanks!
