Tee Ball/Coach Pitch League

Post by majk421 » Sat Jun 15, 2013 5:53 am

In our tee ball & coach pitch leagues, the pitcher is only on the field for defensive purposes. but the Iscore program still tracks the pitcher's ERA and other pitching stats even though he is not truly pitching. Is there a way to not assign pitching stats to a player unless he really is pitching? Maybe add an option to "not track pitching stats" during the initial game setup.

No, there is not a way to do this. But you can turn off all the pitching stats if your league does not have actual pitchers.

When you say turn of all pitching stats, Iscore will still track the stats just not display them, right? I was hoping to make it to where it doesn't track the pitching stats at all.

Yes. iScore will still track them, but if you are not displaying them, then it has no relevance.

Sorry to revive but same question. My league starts off coach pitch then 6 games in the kids start pitching.

Can we edit stats prior to the initial start of kid pitch?

I would like to have that option available.
You have coach walk available seems like it would be close

We do not quite understand the question. You can start with coach pitch immediately, then change to no coach pitch for later games. Each game gets its own settings.

If it is a "purely" coach pitch league, you can create a player called Coach and put him at the pitching position with Batting = NO.

How do you turn off the pitching stats? If you turn them off, will the fielding stats still remain for that position?

See the "Rearranging / Picking Stats" section of the iScore documentation here:

You can decide which stats you want to show/hide. All stats are always tracked, but you can decide which ones you want to include in your reports.
