2B on error

Post by moelle » Mon May 06, 2013 7:31 am

simple question, i am not able to score via iscore following situation: runner reaches 2nd on throwing error E6. SS throw was unreachable for the 1st baseman but in time to make the out. So the runner reached 2nd base and the throw 3-4 was too late.
iscore allows only a 'single'. but i want to score it as a 'double'.
What i am doing wrong?

Not sure I understand the setup. Is the runner who reaches second the batter? If they reach base due to an error, you would not score it as a double. It would be scored as an error. If the runner-batter then makes another base due to the same error you would advance the runner due to an error again (when iscore asks what happens to runner at first), and tap the same fielder for the error. iscore will only assign one error.

yes

For sure an error. I quoted the 'double' because I had no idea how to describe it better. Sorry for my English level. I should spent more time in increasing my English knowledge instead of posting in boards ;)

So I tried it but it does not work.

This is what not happend. I see on the scoresheet E6 between home and 1st and an other E6 between 1st and 2nd.

The score card will show both advances as E6, but the statistics should only show one error assigned to SS. Are you seeing 2 errors in the stats?

In order to be asked about it all on a single play, you should set "Minimize Questions" to NO in the game settings as described in the documentation here:

http://iscoreleagues.com/manual/#h.2q4k99qxrzsl

iScore will then ask what happened to the batter after he reaches first on error, and you can select that he advanced to second on error as well on the same play and enter the same error information. iScore will only assign one error to the fielder in this case.

Ok. Thanks all :) I will double check that and come back later. I did not check the stats because I stopped scoring via iscore and used the pen and paper during the game yesterday.
