How to erase all games from previous year in GAME MANAGER

the subject says it all.
This is a new season and the TEAM MANAGER has been completed.
When trying to schedule a game, I get all the games from the previous season.
I would like to erase all these games in one shot instead of deleting them one by one...

dont delete...just use leagues to filter them out.

You will get much more value out of putting the data in leagues and retaining historical information than deleting.

I am talking about a Softball League with 6 teams ans 11 players per team

For the new 2013 season, I have deleted season 2012 in the LEAGUE MANAGER

I create a new League : VETERANS SEASON 2013
I also have deleted the name of all the players of each team in the TEAM MANAGER and rebuild the teams after our "Universal pick up" (rebuilding the teams every year)
In each team, each player his check as being in the VETERANS SEASON 2013 league

The problem
When trying to schedule a game in GAME MANAGER, I get all the 2012 games on the screen which I want to get rid

I would like to erase all these games in "one shot" instead of one by one (over 300 games), and the only way I found is to erase them one by one...

If they are assigned to a league, you can turn that league off in League Manager, and turn on only the "2013 Season" league.

However, if you have gone in and deleted the names of players from your teams, it sounds like you have already made a mess of your data to the point that trying to use the league functionality is not going to be very optimal since the players for the games you already scored are no longer associated with your team.

If you truly want to start over, here is probably the best thing to do at this point.

1. Make sure you are running the newest version of iScore

2. Do an Options -> Export to send your data to the server (make a note of your Customer ID and Password on the Options -> Admin Website screen)

3. Uninstall, then re-install iScore (this will start you with nothing in your database).

4. Go to Options -> Data Sharing -> Get from Web Database. Enter the customer ID and Password from step 2.

5. You can now import the teams you want back to your device to get the team + roster for each of them (do not import the games)

You should then be ready for your new season with none of the old data.

Deleting the league doesnt delete the underlying games.

As noted, your best course of action would be to not delete anything. Keep the games and players from 2012 and assign to 2012 league. Then, create a 2013 league for this years games. Uncheck 2012 league and you will only see 2013 info.

If you truly want to delete everything, you could delete the app and re-download it. Export your now empty database to wipe out your existing one on the FTM servers. This will delete EVERYTHING including any 2013 games you might have.

Again, I would strongly advise you use the leagues and keep your data, but if you are dead set on deleting, thats probably the easiest method.
