Two games ago, I had to add an error on one of my players (after the game). I manually changed it on the game stats chart for fielding. The change appeared in red on the screen. I didn't hit recalc and the updated stats showed correctly on the team's cumlative stats chart.
Now that we have played another game, the change no longer shows up on the cumlative stats. It's as if that error change from the last game was not entered. It automatically went back to the original stats from the pitch by pitch. How can I change game stats and have them save for the entire season?

Re: Manually changed game stats, not showing on cumulative
It sounds like a Recalc was done with the option to not save your manual overrides. If you do a recalc on the Team Stats screen, it will actually recalc all games for that team, and you need to be sure to choose the option that retains your manual overrides.
Recalc is the only thing that would revert a statistic that has an override value.

Thanks for the reply.
If I choose Recalc at a later date, will it recalc all stats from the season, including overrides?

Re: Manually changed game stats, not showing on cumulative
When selecting Recalc, it gives you two choices. One retains override values and one recalculates even the stats that you have overridden. As long as you choose the option that retains your overrides, you will always have them in place. (If you are not seeing the two choices, be sure you have updated to the newest version of iScore as some old versions did not give a choice in some situations.)

Yes! That was the problem. I hadn't updated my iScore. Now I have the option to save edits. Thanks!
